Londonske štangle
Sastojci: 160 g maslaca, 100 g šećera, 4-5 žumanaca, korica i sok od 1 limuna, 200 g brašna, 1 kašičica praška za pecivo + 1 kafena šoljica mleka (oko 75 ml)
Fil: 5 belanaca, 200 g šećera, 200 g mlevenih oraha, 50 g seckanih oraha + par kašika pekmeza od kajsija
Priprema:
Umutiti penasto maslac sa šećerom, dodati žumanaca i naribanu koricu jednog limuna. U originalnom receptu ne piše, ali može se dodati kafena šoljica mleka i sok od jednog limuna da bi testo bilo mekše. Izmešati brašno sa praškom za pecivo i pažljivo umešati u smesu.
Kalup za pečenje premazati maslacem i posuti brašnom i sipati pripremljenu smesu. Peći u prethodno zagrejanoj rerni na 180 C oko 15-tak minuta.

Ingredients: 160 g butter 100 g sugar 4-5 egg yolks, peel and juice of 1 lemon, 200 g flour, 1 tsp baking powder + 1 teaspoon cup of milk (about 75 ml)
Filling: 5 egg whites, 200g of sugar, 200 g ground walnuts, 50 g chopped walnuts + a few tablespoons of apricot jam
Preparation:
Whisk butter and sugar till fluffy, add egg yolks and zest of one lemon. The original recipe does not say, but you can add brown cups of milk and the juice of one lemon to the dough was softer. Stir flour with baking powder and gently stir into the mixture.
